Notes

This is deftly crafted with its intriguing wood/fruit interplay with a lighter framework of oak letting the cool climate, higher elevation fruit shine. Soft vanilla and toast on the nose meshes harmoniously into pear, white orchard and lemon/ citrus fruit aromatically.
Medium bodied and lower alcohol gives this a lithe textural feel with a light creamy note from the oak aging adding a slight creamy roundness to the wines fruit base which is all woven tightly together by a highlighting vein of acidity running through. This has a beautiful balance between the clean citrus, and white orchard fruit and soft vanilla, cream notes with its lower alcohol and refreshing beam of acidity keeping everything vibrant without the loss of any fruit intensity. Showing well now this should bring a lot of pleasure over the next couple of years. This has the structure to drink well as an aperitif or to match up perfectly with an assortment of lighter food options. Impressive for its elegance and balance.
