93 pts Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar, Mar/Apr 2011
Good pale yellow. Stone fruits, flinty minerality, toffee and spicy oak on the nose, with a complex leesy element. Silky on entry, then bracing but harmonious in the middle, with terrific penetration and energy to the tropical and stone fruit flavors. Very subtle use of oak. Wonderfully tactile, very young wine with a terrific core of fruit. Finishes impressively long and vibrant, with a light touch. As good a chardonnay as I tasted this year from South Africa.
