Decero 'Remolinos Vineyard' Cabernet Sauvignon 2007 solid wine for the money/drinking beautifully

Notes
3/4/10
The Decero single vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon has been one of the more impressive Cabernets we have tried over the last couple of years out of Argentina. The current 2007 release is another terrific effort; richly flavored with good concentration and fruit weight yet still possessing an engaging element of refinement that gives it balance. A nice combo of darker fruits are wrapped inside some well integrated toasty oak, along with some herbal shades and soft spice notes, giving this good varietal definition and an intriguing palate construct. Showing well now this should drink impressively over the next 2-3 years.

Rock-solid, with a juicy, muscular core of blackberry, black currant and fig fruit pushed by bacony toast and a lush, hoisin sauce-tinged finish. Has heft, but balanced too. Drink now through 2011. 90 pts Wine Advocate Issue #191 Oct 2010 /b>
Aromas of Asian spices, violets, black currants, and blackberry; smooth-textured, some elegance.
