Barnadown Run is located in Australia's Bendigo area north of Melbourne. This is a new small boutique winery that specializes in Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon. Andrew Millis is the owner and winemaker. He has great vision and was an apprentice under David Anderson of Wild Duck Creek fame. Barnadown Run's first release, the '98 Cabernet Sauvignon, was one of the top wines out of Australia, according to Wine Wise, a very credible magazine for insiders of Australian wine and highly regarded in particular by vignerons themselves.
