Andeluna’s entry-level wines are both excellent values. The 2010 Malbec 1300 received the same elevage as the Cabernet. Spicy, ripe, and redolent of black cherries, on the palate it has a sense of elegance and good concentration. It, too, is meant for drinking over the next 4 years. 88 pts Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar, Mar/Apr 2012
Bright, full red-ruby. Dark berries, licorice, violet and bitter chocolate on the nose. Juicy and graceful, with noteworthy intensity to the blackberry and spice flavors. This smooth, lively, fruit-driven wine finishes with a broad dusting of tannins and nice lift and length. A very good value.
