A blend of four varietals, Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Petit Verdot, respectively, sourced from Lujan de Cuyo and the Uco Valley in greater Mendoza, this is definitely a New World style. Endowed with a core of juicy, sweet dark fruits mixed with a plethora of savory nuances, think dark chocolate along with a smoky, herbal backdrop. Sleek textured, medium fuller to fuller bodied, with ripe tannins to match the higher pitched fruit, this has exceptional fruit intensity that gives this length and drive making it a pure pleasure to drink. This is quite engaging with its fleshy texture and full throttled fruit, yet the structure is there for some good mid term aging. Nice value. |

Dark and juicy, with plum, boysenberry, raisin and fruitcake flavors backed by dark cocoa and enticing cigar smoke notes. The finish is long and fleshy. A fun, hedonistic wine. Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Petit Verdot. Drink now through 2010. |
